The coastline at St.Francis Bay offers opportunities for deep sea fishing, rock angling, diving, swimming and excellent surfing. The film "Endless Summer" characterised the near perfect waves of Jeffrey's Bay and Cape St. Francis. It still draws surfers from around the world. The Gunston 500 which takes place annually in Durban is also one of the highlight's of the world surfing calendar.
Port Elizabeth and its environs are the perfect complement to the Cape and Garden Route. A wonderful variety of game viewing experiences are available within a short distance of the City.
Known as the water sport capital of South Africa, activities are offered throughout the year.
The Cape and Kwazulu Natal beaches are prized as having good consistent surf year-round.

Cape Town and Blouberg beach "supported" by the regular strong south-easter winds of the Western Cape are also now well known as one of the fastest and hottest area's world-wide for windsurfing also featuring on the international calendar.
