South Africa is criss-crossed by trails leading through scenery both beautiful and spectacular. Hikers and backpackers may choose from a large number of routes through terrain varying from rugged desert to picture-postcard settings of mountains,tall trees
and gentle streams as well as along rocky coastline trails. Most overnight trails have to be booked in advance and maps of most of the trails are available from the booking office.
The ultimate African experience is a Wilderness Trail through the Kruger National Park or other privately owned game reserves. Groups as small as eight people traverse the wilderness under the guidance of experienced, armed rangers, who protect, but more importantly unwrap the wonders of Africa and it's wildlife to the uninitiated.

Kwa-Zulu Natal Province boasts more nature reserves and game parks than any other province in South Africa. Here one can still experience nature in the true African tradition.
The scenic Dolphin Coast is characterised by beautiful beaches, protected coves and rock pools. It offers a wide variety of water sports including diving and snorkelling.
A very special slice of Africa, the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park offers eco-tourists some of the most diverse wildlife and outdoor experiences imaginable. The Park supports an abundance of Nile crocodile and hippo as well as black and white rhino, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, waterbuck, kudu, nyala, impala, duiker and reedbuck amongst a host of other species. The park is famous for its birdlife including flamingos, pelicans, herons, terns, ducks, geese, storks, etc.
